A Long First Day

We did not check into our hotel until around 10:15pm -a full 25+ hours from when our trip began. It's been fun, though. Everyone is too exhausted to write, but here are just a few pictures - which will be added to more tomorrow... Our first Vlog will also go up tomorrow.

A panorama of us in front of Paul Revere's House. The house was built in 1680 and sits in the North End of Boston - a largely Italian Neighborhood necknamed "Little Italy." We learned the truth of Paul Revere's ride - quite different from the poem that made him famous.

This mariner's building is next door to Revere's house, but is more than 100 years newer (still nearly 200 years old).

Sitting by Paul Revere's Statute

The incredibly large and beautiful Boston Common - America's first public park. Later at nights we went on a haunted tour and learned that Boston Common is quite haunted!
