Today i learned how old buildings are. We drove around Boston while Steve, our tour guide, talked to us about the history of the buildings of Boston. There were a lot of brick buildings and churches. The thing that surprised me the most was the fact that the people of Boston are very fearless. People just walk in the middle of the street without looking. I was also surprised by their accents here. The tour guide Steve was the first person to show signs of an accent. When he "Harvard", he pronounced it " Havad", the same thing happened with "Harbor", he would say " Haba". Boston people don't really pronoince the "r" in a lot of their words. This experience has changed the way I look at things in a new place. When i used to look at buildings, I never really thought about the history behind them but after today I'm now curious. - Natajsia (Soph)
